Health and Wellbeing

Scientific research studies suggest that a combination of our genes, our environment and aspects of our lives, in particular – many of which we can control, could be the key to curing ourselves of sickness and early death. Think about that statement for a moment. It’s important – especially if we can cure ourselves from potentially life-threatening illness.

A number of factors are known to influence the health of individuals, including background, lifestyle, and economic and social conditions:

The World Health Organisation defined Health in 1946 as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

I’m an education consultant and lifestyle blogger, and I’m here to empower you into making better choices and paying special attention to your lives with a view to improving the quality of it. In my Health and Well-being program, I want to concentrate on some of the side-issues that are not being considered by the medical profession and the scientific community. This evidence comes from reading, studies, and my grass-roots work with socially disadvantaged and socially excluded people living in poor communities. I believe with the right information – we can be inspired, motivated and empowered to positively change our lives for the better. This section of my blog will empower you to make healthier choices for you and your family.
